Task Board
The Task Board is the central hub of bounty hunting in Valyria. Take on daily bounty contracts, complete weekly kill & delivery objectives, climb the progressive multiplier bar, and spend your Hunting Points on exclusive outfits. Every hunt you do can count toward something — this page explains the full system end-to-end.
Overview
The Task Board runs two parallel progression tracks. Daily bounty tasks give you targeted hunts that reset every 24 hours and reward Bounty Points + experience. Weekly tasks are a much larger objective list (kills + deliveries) that resets every week and rewards Hunting Points + experience, scaled by a progressive multiplier that grows as you complete more.
1. Pick a daily difficulty & accept 3 bounty tasks
Open the Task Board, choose a difficulty (Beginner → Master), and select up to 3 monsters from the daily roll. Each task has a 24-hour timer.
2. Equip the Bounty Talisman
Wear the talisman in your artifact slot to gain 4 powerful combat effects against your bounty monsters: bonus damage, life leech, extra loot, and bestiary progress.
3. Knock out weekly kill & delivery tasks
6 kill tasks + 6 delivery tasks per week (expandable to 9 + 9). Every completion adds Hunting Points to the weekly progress bar.
4. Climb the multiplier bar
Hitting 5, 8, 12, and 16 completed weekly tasks multiplies the final Hunting Point payout up to ×4. The points are paid out at the weekly reset.
5. Spend Hunting Points in the Shop
Convert your hard-earned points into outfits and addons in the Task Board's shop tab.
The Three Currencies
The Task Board uses three separate currencies. Each one comes from a different activity and is spent in a different place — don't confuse them.
Daily (Bounty) Tasks
Every day, the Task Board rolls a fresh pool of monsters drawn from the difficulty tier you have selected. You may accept up to 3 daily bounty tasks at a time, and each accepted task is active for 24 hours from the moment you accept it.
Selecting a Task
Open the Task Board, pick a difficulty tier, and click on one of the rolled monsters to accept it as a bounty. Once accepted, kills of that monster count toward the task wherever you fight it.
Rewards on Claim
When you reach the required kill count, return to the Task Board and click claim. You receive experience, Bounty Points, and Re-Roll Tokens. Rewards scale with your difficulty tier and the task type (see below).
Party Sharing (capped at 2)
Kills are credited to a party member too, as long as the party has shared experience enabled. To keep things fair on a 7.4 server, only up to 2 recipients per kill — duo hunts stay rewarded, but 5-man parties can't farm one task into five exp injections.
Daily Timer
Each accepted task gives you exactly 24 hours from acceptance to finish it. If the timer runs out before you complete it, the task slot frees up and you can roll a new one in its place.
Daily Difficulty Tiers
There are four difficulty tiers for daily bounty tasks. Each tier draws monsters from a different pool and demands a different kill count, but also pays much more in Bounty Points and experience. Pick the highest tier you can comfortably farm.
| Tier | Kills Required | Bounty Points | Re-Roll Tokens | Experience |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beginner | 50 – 100 | 3 | 1 | Capped at 30,000 |
| Adept | 100 – 200 | 6 | 1 | Capped at 100,000 |
| Expert | 200 – 400 | 11 | 1 | Capped at 300,000 |
| Master | 300 – 600 | 16 | 1 | Capped at 800,000 |
Task Types: Normal, Silver & Gold
When a daily task is rolled, the system also rolls a type. Silver and Gold tasks are rare upgrades that multiply both the experience and the Bounty Point payout of that specific task — they cost no more kills, they just pay much more.
| Task Type | Roll Chance | Exp Multiplier | Bounty Points Multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | ~86% | ×1 | ×1 |
| Silver | ~8% | ×1.5 | ×2 |
| Gold | ~6% | ×2 | ×4 |
The Bounty Talisman
The Bounty Talisman is an artifact you equip in your artifact slot. While worn, it grants four powerful bonuses — but only against monsters that are currently active bounty targets on your daily task list. The bonuses are upgradable with Bounty Points to scale up as you progress.
| Effect | Range | Scaling | How It Works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Damage vs. Bounty Monsters | +2.5% → +15% | 0.5% per level | Adds bonus damage to your hits on active bounty creatures. |
| Life Leech | +2.5% → +12% | 0.5% per level | A portion of damage dealt to bounty creatures is restored as HP. |
| Extra Loot | +2.5% → +30% | 0.5% per level | Multiplies the loot drop chance on bounty creature corpses. |
| Bestiary Progress | +5% → +50% | Scales with level cap | Chance to count a kill twice toward bestiary progress. |
Re-Rolling Monsters (Dices)
Don't like the monsters offered today? You can re-roll the daily monster line-up using a Re-Roll Token (also called a "dice"). Each re-roll replaces every unselected monster in your daily roll with a fresh pull from your current difficulty pool.
Daily Free Token
You get 1 free Re-Roll Token per day, claimable from the Task Board. It does not stack day-over-day — claim it daily.
Reward Tokens
Every time you claim a completed daily task you also receive Re-Roll Tokens. Silver and Gold tasks pay more tokens (×2 and ×4 respectively), so a lucky Gold task is essentially several free re-rolls.
Preferred & Unwanted List
The Preferred List lets you tilt the daily roll toward monsters you like and away from ones you don't. Preferred monsters roll ×5 more often than a random monster from the pool. Unwanted monsters are removed from the roll entirely.
Unlocking Slots
You start with 1 preferred and 1 unwanted slot, expandable to 5 slots each. Each additional slot costs (owned_slots × 200) Bounty Points — so slot 2 is 200 points, slot 3 is 400, slot 4 is 600 and slot 5 is 800.
Assigning a Monster
Each time you assign or clear a monster on a preferred/unwanted slot, it costs 10 Bounty Points. Choose carefully — the cost is paid every time you change a slot.
Weekly Tasks
Weekly tasks are a much larger objective list that resets every Monday. There are two categories: Kill Tasks (defeat a required number of a specific monster) and Delivery Tasks (turn in a required amount of a specific item). Each contribute to your weekly Hunting Point total.
Kill Tasks (6 slots)
6 kill tasks per week by default. Slot 1 is always reserved for an "Any Creature" task — every monster you kill counts toward it. The other 5 slots are drawn from your selected weekly difficulty tier.
Delivery Tasks (6 slots)
6 delivery tasks per week by default. Each one asks for a specific item in a specific amount. Items can be turned in from your inventory or your depot — gold coins, platinum coins, crystal coins, and health/mana potions are excluded.
| Difficulty | Kills per Task | "Any Creature" Kills | Hunting Points per Kill Task | Kill Task Exp | Suggested Level |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Beginner | 50 – 100 | 500 | 20 | ×0.50 base, cap 50k | Low-level / starter creatures. |
| Adept | 100 – 200 | 1,000 | 35 | ×0.75 base, cap 200k | Mid-tier creatures, party-friendly hunts. |
| Expert | 200 – 400 | 2,000 | 55 | ×1.00 base, cap 600k | High-tier creatures, requires gear & experience. |
| Master | 300 – 600 | 3,000 | 75 | ×1.00 base, cap 1.5M | Endgame creatures, very long completion time. |
Extra Weekly Slots (3 + 3)
You can permanently expand your weekly task slots by spending Shop Points (the cash-shop currency, not Hunting Points). These two upgrades are one-time purchases — once unlocked they apply forever.
+3 Weekly Kill Slots
Adds 3 extra kill task slots, taking you from 6 to 9 kill tasks per week. Cost: 1,000 Shop Points.
+3 Weekly Delivery Slots
Adds 3 extra delivery task slots, taking you from 6 to 9 delivery tasks per week. Cost: 1,000 Shop Points.
Progressive Multiplier Bar
As you complete weekly tasks (kill or delivery, they all count), the multiplier bar fills up. When the week ends, your accumulated Hunting Point progress is multiplied by this bar before being paid out. Pushing into the next tier of the bar can easily double or triple your weekly haul.
| Weekly Tasks Completed | Hunting Points Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 0 – 4 tasks | ×1 (no bonus) |
| 5 – 7 tasks | ×1.5 multiplier |
| 8 – 11 tasks | ×2 multiplier |
| 12 – 15 tasks | ×3 multiplier |
| 16+ tasks | ×4 multiplier (max) |
When the Weekly Resets
The weekly task list — including the multiplier bar and the cash-out of your accumulated Hunting Points — resets every Monday at 08:00 server time. At reset:
- Your accumulated Hunting Point progress is multiplied by the bar and paid into your Hunting Points balance.
- The kill and delivery task lists are wiped and you can roll a fresh set with a new difficulty if you want.
- The multiplier bar resets to ×1.
- Daily bounty tasks are not affected — they run on their own 24-hour clock.
Hunting Shop (Outfits & Addons)
The Hunting Shop is the shop tab inside the Task Board itself. Everything in it costs Hunting Points, the weekly currency. The shop is stocked with a large catalogue of outfits and addons — most of them unobtainable through normal gameplay.
| Reward | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Base Outfit | 8,000 Hunting Points | Unlocks the male/female look of an outfit you do not own. |
| Outfit Addon 1 | 4,000 Hunting Points | Adds the first addon piece to an outfit you already own. |
| Outfit Addon 2 | 4,000 Hunting Points | Adds the second addon piece to an outfit you already own. |
